My 2020 Mega Cab Build - Bilstein Leveled on 37's

Yeah, I looked up the nittos and they are actually pretty darn big, 36.7 inch, just to let you know my two cents doesn’t mean a thing here.

Yeup, but it would still be a 4” increase even with an actual measurement of 36” tires with the 2.5” level. Fairly big difference between a height of 82” vs 84” as it relates to a 7’ garage door clearance.
I ask dmac in previous post his truck fits in his 83" garage his total height is 82" on his current setup

Yeup....just trying to understand how with based on the math with his mods.

Not all truck sit the same factory and even with lifts they all. Sit lil different.. mine is about 79ish and I have a 84" garage and want to do something myself but b able to park in garage

This is exactly why I am curious about his measurements as I have been researching the same. 35s will add an inch to the stock tires. 37s will add 2”. Then you go up from there depending on the level you add. I also have an 84” garage, so my options are 35s with a 2” level or 37s with a 1”. Dont see any other option to keep it in the garage.

Agreed let us know what u do... I have factory air ride I might do thuren 1-2" coils up front and 35" tires and hope for the best.... Keep us updated on what u do

It only gave me the option of clicking the “like” button once. Nice truck.

I know I'm late responding, but yeah, I'm at 82" tall. I make it into my 83" tall garage opening by 1". I'm not sure what the stock height was but I would assume the 2.5" Billstein kit maybe raises the overall highest point of the truck (in this case, the cab) about 1" to 1.5". And if I remember right the stock height tires are something like 33ish, maybe 34"? So going to 37", you only get half that amount since the height increases on both sides of the tire, so best case it raises you 2" total. So I'd say overall it lifted everything about 3"...ish...kind of...sort of. I know from years of selling and installing lift kits that heights can vary slightly, so that could have something to do with it as well.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any more questions.

Something else to add, different companies give different measurements for their kits. It's entirely possible that the 2.5" kit from Billstein only provides a 1.5" lift, which could mean only 3/4" lift at the center/cab area of the truck. Whereas the Carli could be a true 2.5" lift. I've sold a lot of kits in my day and I know they can vary greatly. Unfortunately, I can't find the stock fender versus leveled fender height measurements that I had the tech note down.

Hey Everyone,
New to the site, new to Rams, new to diesels.
Anyways, thought I'd share my 2020 Red Mega Cab progress. Bought it two weeks ago and it's coming along nicely. It's a 6.7 Cummins Night Edition, Laramie Level 2, with the 12" screen and Trailer Surround Cam set up. Also came with the power deployable running boards.
Mods I've made:
Bilstein 2.5" level kit with reservoir shocks in the front.
20x9 Hostile Sprockets +0 offset
37x12.50R20 Nitro Ridge Grapplers
Airlift 5000 Ultimate air bag kit
Wireless Compressor kit

I originally did 35x12.50's and just couldn't stand the way it looked. Tires looked too small. So the next day I pulled them off and went with the 37's instead. My wheels are a 0 offset and I like the stance of them and didn't want to go with a positive offset so I removed the fender liners and cut the pinch weld out of the fender, then hit it with a tack weld and sprayed it with frame coating. Put the liners back in, cut the plastic spots out as recommended by CJC Off-road, and zip tied back the front fender liner area. No rubbing whatsoever and I LOVE the way it looks with the 37's. It's an absolute beast. I threw a rubber bed mat in the back and plan on ordering a Retrax electric bed cover tomorrow or the next day. No sense Line-Xing a bed that's going to be covered, and things slide on Line-X after a while anyway. This thing tows my 37 foot travel trailer like a champ. Very happy so far with this truck.
I've attached some pics, let me know what you think.
Sweet looking truck. I'm thinking of doing the bilstein leveling kit also.

Went the 37s route with no lift and couldn’t be happier. May still do the Carli 1.5” as I still have room for it given my driveway angle. Thanks for the insight.
