No worries. My wife points out ghost trailers to me now all the time. We don't complain. We just laugh.

I need ones of these

Here's a pic of the new gm/chevy tow mirrors.

Look like ram mirrors when slid outwards.

That may be the case of you don't tow.

Folded in, they certainly provide a better visual not towing.

Even towing--folded out--, they are marginally better IMO. I feel like Ram could have done a better job with these mirrors overall. This design has lived its useful life, time for something better.

Always folded out. I find them useless being flipped in. The blind spot mirror is exceptional when folded out so it’s pure function for me.

It's coming.

I leave mine folded in 95% of the time.

Hauling my gooseneck loaded with SXS's from Texas to Colorado I tried driving with them both folded out and folded in. I did not notice any measurable difference. I do tend to fold them out when hauling my cattle trailer because it's more difficult to see around.

I do pull regularly with my truck and honestly the longer I have had it, the less I flip them out.

I wish they would have used an adjustable telescoping mirror that's taller instead of these flip out mirrors. They would be much more practical.

The end of an age!!!

I keep them flipped up when driving, and have them auto-fold in when parked.

Why? Because IMO,
I have better visibility
I know it upsets people
Don't see the point in folding them up and down between each tow.
Easier to judge fitting the DRW through spaces if the mirrors clear

Looks like by the sneak peak post of the 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel Crew Cab 4×4 that they are finally going to change to a power out vertical mirror . I agree time for a change but not sure i like the power in and out , My dads 04 chevy 2500 has those and they quit working after 2 years of rarely going in and out for a trailer tow. Hopefully ram will build a better quality one . I love the power fold for the car wash though , hope it works for a long time on my 21 3500. EDIT -Sorry just realized brutal beat me to it with the post about the 2023 ram rebel mirrors
