Missing Blind Spot Monitoring

Ah gotcha.

This will be on the lower end of $1,000 from start to finish for a diy.

3 BSM Harnesses (left and right mirror glass and one Body control module) provided by @Jimmy07
68401394AA Mirror Replacement Glass, Right
68401395AA Mirror Replacement Glass, Left
68446840AE Tail Lamp, Right
68446841AE Tail Lamp, Left
(Quantity 2) 68396013AB Jumper Wiring
AlphaOBD
Security module bypass provided by KAOdTECH
And some type of OBD link that supports AlphaOBD I personally went with OBDLinkMX+ but there are other potentially cheaper options.

Word of warning when you go to replace the tail light harnesses with the "Jumper Wiring" I ended up breaking the old harness clip on the passenger side due to body metal being in the way and how the tail light comes off. If I need to remove the passenger tail light again I'll end up having to break the new harness. You may not run into that issue, but just so you are aware...
Awesome picture documentation on all the wiring locations. It'll make this much easier as I'm waiting for all my parts to arrive.

Awesome list! I think prices are up, best I could find was about $1,200 for just tail lights mirrors and jumpers. how do I contact @Jimmy07?

Look for the Seller on Ebay called "Emanual Autoparts" He's selling NOS complete tail-light assemblies with BSM for $349. They come in a plastic bag and everything is correct. They're based out of Texas. As of right now, looks like he has 2 of the LH and 1 RH...email him for the right side...he comes across those pretty frequently. It beats paying full-pop thru a Mopar parts warehouse.

I purchased mine through Factory Mopar Parts
Currently shows $492.68 for one (mine were $474.15) also not sure if it shows different prices based on location.

Just PM Jimmy07 him letting him know what you need, the HD Blind Spot Monitoring keep in mind he is pretty active across several forums so response times may vary but shouldn't go over 12-24 hours.

If you guys are buying used tails off eBay, or wherever, keep this in mind:
You can not use 2019 tail light with BSM part numbers on 2020+ trucks. You can use 2020+ tails on a 2019, though.

here are the 2020+ p/n's for the Night Edition vehicles because of the black surround and black reverse light emblem. These are brand new..just no mopar box. Not bad for the price

I did get the left one from Emanual autoparts, but he does on have a right one now. Where did you find this set?
So dumb question, how do you pm someone?

Up on ebay, as your looking at the Left hand side from his listing, look at the Seller and it'll say "contact seller". He answers pretty quickly. The right sides get bought up pretty quickly and are in short supply. The one I found is already gone. Good luck

Yes, I contacted him, he is going to let me know if he comes across a right side tail light. Thanks for all the info!
already saved me over $100!

It's a matter of doing the research for your model year on any mopar site.. That part number you stated is for only 1500 trucks (which will not work for HD trucks)

Just click on their user name then click start a conversation

How do we know what part numbers are for the 2020+ trucks? For example, a part #68262530AH says good for my 2021 Ram, but will also fit a 2019 Ram. Is this a good part number or are there certain ones for 2020+ ?

Finally have all the parts needed to install BSM. installed tail lights and jumpers, tomorrow will install the CAN bus jumpers. I remember seeing a pretty good picture of the correct locations/ wire colors on the CAN bus, anyone know where it is located? I'm pretty good with wiring and reading schematics , but I'm not a programmer, so be ready for some weird questions! LOL

Should be accessible via driver side foot well, you can also pop off the headlight switch panel to get a view of them.
There should be 2 CAN busses one of which will make your truck do some crazy things when plugging these in, just pop the wires out and put them in the other (pick tools make it easier to remove them if this is the case)

Thanks for the reply! I'm assuming that battery should be disconnected first. how about the KAODTECH bypass? didn't come with any instructions.

Another question, I do have a windows laptop, would it still be wise to pick up a cheap android tablet for the AlphaOBD? I have read that the Windows app is not as user friendly.

The bypass should a small shrink wrap label on each leg near the connector, one labeled Grn/Wht and one Grn/Blk if I remember correctly. The Can Buss blocks are two colors top and bottom, just match the label with the connector.

Thanks for the quick reply, working on it now. pretty sure I have it figured out, but nice to have a confirmation!
This forum rocks!
