Mirror Auxiliary Reverse Lights

I picked up a 2019 2500 about 2 months ago with the black appearance package that includes mirror mounted reverse auxiliary lights. I never even knew about them until the other day.
Now that I know about them when I put it in reverse they don’t come on. Do I need to do anything to turn them on or should I bring it in to the dealer?

They only come on once you push the cargo light button, and you must be parked or in reverse. Hope this helps.
