Is there an aftermarket solution for a mid bed cargo tie down? A quick google search did not yeild anything.

**I have seen/seen the chain trick, but would would prefer something permanent above thw wheel well**

I pulled my factory bolt in tie downs out and replaced them with short vertical sections of unistrut. I then ran lengths of half-height unistrut horizontally from front to back.

short bed or long bed? The long bed has a hole in the center stake pocket you can hook a strap too but otherwise you are looking at a custom solution

Yup, it is a short bed 6'4", no ram box. The lack of a center stake pocket really messes up the mix. 3 outta 4 time the lack of a center tie down point is not an issue, but when you decide to load your bed up with a lot of trash bags for an eagle scout project or yard waste that center point is handy.

Edit I just found these, light duty for stuff that is just loose in the bed! https://realtruck.com/p/extang-cargo-cleats/v/dodge/ram-2500/2022/
