Mega cab vs crew cab

P.S. A Long Bed Mega would need a wheelbase longer than the F350 which is 176". Probably closer to 180"

Talk about turning around a battleship.

RAM already has longer wheel base frames on 4500/5500 C&C.

What to stop them from building MCLB other than the lack of demand?
I heard C&C frames may be a little different at the rear but can't be hard to adapt and to bolt on the MEGA and a long box to these frames.
Hell with 197 and 204in wheelbase there may even be room to stick an auxilary fuel tank between the cab and a box, would be the best towing machine on the market!

For those that have had both. CC and Mega. Does the mega get in the way when backing? Blocking vision?.?

Notice any difference with parking and turning radius?

Like to hear from anybody

Ive had both (crew cab SB and mega cab SB). Turning radius definitely suffers on the mega.

Ya I just dropped off the kid at dance class and went to ‘’do the u-turn at the end of main’’ in our 2 horse town in the Mega and didn’t maker.
Had to do the backup of shame and try again. I have never had a problem spinning around the CCSB.

They've already done a concept vehicle, haven't seen any more on it.

197" Wheelbase!

I remember reading somewhere when the Long Hauler came out as a concept. I recall the size or weight made it fall into a different class of Drivers License which would limit the sales ability to the common Joe. Its been a while so I might be mistaken but it makes sense.

Between the mirrors and cameras you see everything around the vehicle. Turning radius is greater than a CCSB but not as bad as the CCLB. Obviously it is a larger vehicle with a wide turning radius so parking is something to be aware of in some places.

mirrors and cameras. i dont have the 360 and my worst judgement is always the passenger front. anything from the mirrors back is cake. you see it all very clearly.

i have a mega at the beach in LA county. everything is tight. i park farther away and walk. same as if i had a CCSB.

these trucks are all really big. get what you like and you figure it out. just like everything else in life, getting one thing gives up another!
