My understanding is that it is a software update that reduces the vibration. But not sure just something I heard.

I'm not aware of any software update. Is your vibration the "normal" low pitch buzzy feeling when mds kicks in, or are you feeling something more than that?

From what I have read it seems to be the normal buzz and vibration but not sure as I have only had the truck for three weeks. It seem pretty bad and annoying.

There's another more recent thread discussing this, I don't mind it at all, others are really bothered by it. Click your gear selector to choose a manual gear, then select 8, you'll run in normal tranny mode but MDS will be deactivated.

MDS sounds and feels weird. Nothing to be done about it so just get used to it. When you turn an 8 cylinder into a 4 cylinder it’s gonna happen

yeah turns out I had a bracket on the exhaust loss, so it was rattling when it kicked in make it sound a lot worst. not so bad now.
