Looking for some guidance on my issue... have a 2022 Ram 2500. Recently have noticed a creaking sound when turning either right or left but no noise when going straight on the driver side. lifted the front tires off the ground and tried to see if the bearing was bad. Everything seemed tight no play by grabbing the tire and trying to rock it. Took the tires off and turned the steering wheel, while turning it makes the creaking sound. could turn the hub without issue when straight but couldn't even rotate it when at full turn (without the tire on). I can spin it with tire on but creaks like crazy.
Pass side rotates without issue straight and full lock turn... just want to make sure I am not missing anything. The driver side should also spin freely, right?
so with that guessing it is my driver side axle u joints... agree?
