Marker Lights With Daytime Running Lights?

I have a Haloview rear view camera on the back of my TT. It is wired for power to a rear clearance or marker light at the top of the TT. With my old truck I always towed with my low beams on so the camera had power. The new Ram has daytime running lights but the marker lights do not come on with the running lights. Does anyone know if there is a setting or other way to get the marker lights to power on with the running lights?

Of course I can do as before and run with my regular headlights on. But since I have the daytime running lights I thought I would prefer to use those all day rather than the bright LED headlights. I swear, the low beam on these lights is brighter than my high beams on the old truck! I sometimes get flashed at night even with only the low beams on.

Without any wiring changes, the only way to get power to your camera is via the running light pin on the 7-way trailer plug, which means that can only happen if you put the headlamp switch to parking lights only, headlights on, or auto when it’s dark enough to trigger the headlights to come on. There’s no way to configure the DRLs to have that trailer plug running light pin to be hot when the DRLs are on. Obviously, if you want to run wiring, your options are limitless.
