Manual regens are really a last resort. The issue is the government forcing people to have piss poor emission systems

Agreed, very few reasons one should have to force a manual regen in a pickup.

The C&C’s makes a little more sense with potential useage.

FWIW, while an active stationary regen may be enabled using AlfaOBD, the sales code option to enable it like CC doesn't work.

I expect it's one of those things that if the platform code doesn't match a capability, it's not going to work.
