Lowering PSI

Question. Is AlphaOBD the only way to get rid of the resulting low pressure warning? Do dealers normally accept to modify the threshold?

There are several programmer options, but AlfaOBD seems to be the most commonly.

I do not believe dealerships can, or will, alter it.

A 3500 will also get rid of it.

I believe on the 2500 you can't get rid of it only change the set psi to trigger the warning.

You can make a 2500 have TPIS or a 3500 have TPMS with AlfaOBD.

I used J-Scan to change my 3500 dually to TPMS and changed the trigger to 65 for the front and 35 for the rear unloaded. When towing, I change the trigger settings to the door numbers. Pretty sure you can do that with the 2500s. I went with the J-Scan as it is compatible with iPhone and will do most of that AlphaODB will do. I also changed my DRLs to the turn signals (Canada).
