I hear of guys running 45 to 50something psi in their tires when not towing to maximize ride quality. So do you just ignore the low psi idiot light? Or is there a way to reprogram the low limit on the warning light?

Some folks have reported that all they've had to do was turn on Tire Fill Assist, delete the current preset values, then lower the threshold and save as a new preset.

This didn't work for me, so I went the AlfaOBD route, but it is worth a try first since it is free.

I believe this only works on duallys. Worked on my dually easy enough.

This does not work on my 2500. It did help me lower my pressures, as it's supposed to. But the low psi warning light still comes on and the vehicle info window shows two values in red and says "inflate to 65 psi".

I am wondering if this more of a trim level option.. the window sticker for my 21 Laramie in standard options lists "selectable tire fill alert" After pulling up a couple Bighorn window stickers it just says "tire fill alert" Perhaps this ability to change the tire pressure alert is offered only on Laramie and up trims ??

Mine is a Limited, and I can't change my warning. (Unless I just haven't figured it out yet.) So the "Laramie and up" idea doesn't seem to be the case.
