Low Boost Pressure

I used the correct year replacement MAP sensor. Now for a good update, last week I pulled my 13,000 lb fifth wheel for the first since the sensors were replaced, about 1 1/2 hour trip with one long very steep hill and multiple smaller ones. I had the boost pressure screen pulled up the entire trip, the boost repeatedly went to around 29 PSI on hills with no failure. I can't guarantee the sensor change will correct your problem but it has corrected mine. The sensor change is at least a cheap first step. Good Luck
 
So we got a a 2024 3500 HO that just went on weight watchers ghost diet plan and it will only make 20psi of boost. Are y’all saying to put in a map sensor for a 2018 model? Or a new map for the year of the truck?
ECM swap tune, or the “factory” ECM option that’s been floating around?

Lots of guys doing these tunes find out the hard way that as soon as your ECM loses power, it bricks the truck. Hope you don't experience this. 22-current trucks have NOT been officially cracked yet. For anyone interested in non ECM swap deletes of 22-current, BE AWARE.

The SGM bypass cable ONLY allows you to make changes to rf hub and to the bcm, not the ecm. 22+ ecm’s have not been cracked and must be swapped so you don’t have issues. If you don’t swap you will have issues, which you have experienced. Yes, the swap costs quite a bit more. Buy once, cry once. The plus with the ecm swap is you can get trans tuning which is a huge plus as long as who is doing the tuning knows what they are doing.
 
It looks like my low boost problem is solved. I replaced two sensors and cleaned one. I replaced the MAF sensor, it probably didn't need to be replaced as it was perfectly clean. I replaced the MAP sensor, it was completely encapsulated in soot. I cleaned the Exhaust Manifold Pressure sensor and cleaned the connecting tube, the sensor was dirty but not clogged up. I drove the truck unloaded and was repeatedly able to accelerate quickly with up to 26 psi of boost with no failure (I have never seen the boost go up to 26 psi). Thanks to SALTFARMER for the tip.
I changed my MAP sensor to one from an '18 truck now my boost will hit over 30psi iand my check engine light turned off. Thanks @saltfarmer !!
