You're doing it wrong
Nobody, just pointing it out. It was added back on 3rd gens after the 13 update.
Im hoping the CAD is less troublesome on these trucks, one of the reasons i like my 05 is the simplicity of the 4wd system

On my 01 i bought the right inner shaft from an 02 and cut the cad fork so the cad was just for indicating if the 4wd was on or not… i wish my 05 had a 4x4 indicator lol i forgot it on a few times after driving in freezing rainI think it was generally the vacuum systems. I helped a buddy put a cable on his 94 12V when it started acting up but then the wife hated it when she started using the truck more after he got his 08 so it got put back to stock (and fixed).
If it’s always been in the Southwest, should be zero rust/corrosion.Well guys I'm back still looking for a Ram Cummins. I found a 2005 SLT with 335,xxx miles. Body looks like it had no rust, interior looks a bit dirty but overall intact, no missing pieces. 2 owner vehicle. They are asking $10,500. Purchasing out of state so I will probably get PPI done. Dealer offers virtual inspection, wondering if I can get by with that....
What do you think about the mileage? If it’s always been in the Southwest, should be zero rust/corrosion.
Thats normalAlso noted the mounting brackets on the seats rusty. Any cause of concerns or is it pretty normal?
Millage is getting up there but i would buy itWhat do you think about the mileage?
Should I look for lower mileage one, or is 335,xxx good for the price?Millage is getting up there but i would buy it
Without knowing any history or seeing who owned it before its hard to sayWhat do you guys think about the mil

Dealer can program a fob for it, my 05 does not have a key hole on the passenger side eitherHey guys, I ended up finding a 2005 Ram 2500 SLT from Phoenix with 266,xxx miles in excellent condition. It should arrive in the next day or two. I have a quick question, it doesn't have a keyfob but also doesn't have a keyhole on the passenger door. Can I just order a keyfob and program it to the truck, or do I need an existing keyfob to do it?
I was able to add a key fob with a Dorman kit they sell on amazon. Dorman 99164 Keyless Entry Remote 3 Button. Locks/unlocks and the panic button works too.Dealer can program a fob for it, my 05 does not have a key hole on the passenger side either
