Looked at 2022 2500 w/ cummins 6.7 turbo diesel earlier today. The acceleration seemed sluggish. carfax shows brakes and new tires at 14000 miles. Why new brakes with such low miles? any suggestions? Over all truck seems clean but was purchased at auction in august in michagan, origionally purchased in NY. Truck comes with 4 additional off road tires and the truck stands taller that my big horn when parked side by side. Could there be a lift kit installed for off roading? Does off road use require excessive braking? Could this be reason for dealer changing the brakes and rotors prior to selling? Any and all input would be appreciated. Tks

Could be the orig owner pulled heavy and didn't use the exhaust brake. Or my wife drove it a lot and braked at the last moment all the time :D

How about this one, 2018 larimie with 1400 miles very clean. carfax shows accident but no specifics as to extent or type of damage. would this be one to avoid?

I'd walk away, maybe even run. Doesn't add up. The auction would worry me, way to many ways fly by night outfits take a flooded or messed up vehicle do some title transfer magic and wash its history. Besides why buy a truck you have worries about. Plenty around with solid clean history.
