Who has a nice grill Guard/ brush guard they are running on their 3500?

If you would please provide details and a link where I can find it.

Note: I’d like it to be compatible or have the ability to be installed with a Warn Winch.

I have considered purchasing the number that goes with this winch however, if there is a better setup, I’d like to know what it is. My truck without a load is 11,180 lbs. on a CAT scale with me in the vehicle while being weighed.

What is YOUR SET UP???????

Respectfully
Chris

You might want to check out Iron Cross http://ironcrossautomotive.com/index.html I'm really happy with the quality of work from these guys, I don't have a winch set up but I've seen them in person which led me to purchase my Brushgaurd from them.

If your truck weighs 11,180lb, as stated, then the 12k winch wouldn’t be recommended. I’d go 16.5ti.
100% agree. Depending if you plan to use the winch or have it as eye candy.. the 16.5ti is not only your best bet, but also the only choice for reliable pulling in those situations where you wish you would have spent the extra few hundred dollars. Unless you are just pulling Miata's out of the ditch during the winter..

I suppose that would make sense if you're trying to lift all 4 off the ground, but then what?

Rule of thumb for a winch is normally 1.5x vehicle weight. Seeing as how the truck is close to 12k you stick that truck in the mud you are going to want more than 12k winch to move it. If he ends up using a 12k probably will want to keep a snatch block handy to make it easier on the winch.

Is there a are there multiple recommendations for what I’m looking for.

The premise behind having a winch for my purposes has nothing to do with heavy off roading or anything. My Trucks purpose is to haul my Grand Design 397TH.

I recognize that there maybe some points in our travels that I may require help getting unstuck at some point.

The his truck is a stock Ram 3500, DRW, CC 4x4, LB w/ 4:10’s. All of my work crap brings it up to that weight. The truck stock on a CAT scale w/pall of my crap in it is 10.500 lbs.

Regardless, all of the information provided here has been extremely helpful!

As stated above, Is there a or are there multiple recommendations for what’s needed. I’d much rather overmatch the winch to the truck to ensure the winch would be able to handle the vehicle w/o issue.

If you read the fine print on most winch advertisements of weight rating that is the pulling power with the cable almost fully extended (one or two wraps left on winch drum) as the cable is wound and the more wraps on the drum changes the dynamics and you loose pulling power. Snatch Blocks are the secret of tow trucks, I would definitely try to go with a 16,000 lbs if you can, but a 12,000 could suffice with a snatch block, ALWAYS BE PREPARED FOR THE UNKNOWN.
