That was one of the first things I tried. Didn't make much of a difference, unfortunately. Once I milled the piece down a bit, all is ok with the oring.
Btw, it takes a bit to get that booger back in there.
Fwiw this is my 2nd one. I lost my first one (left it on the bed rail after fueling up.) first one fit great, they must of changed the design a tiny bit maybe this run the manufacturer machine was off a C.H..?
