Line-X for bed...

Just an fyi, Cooper is now owned by Goodyear and they are made in china. Lots of problems with cracking around the beads in the last year or so. I was a die-hard Cooper fan but no more.

Ahhh...was not aware of that...may change my plans...damn...so back to the drawing board! Thanks for the info!

I am probably going with Toyo Open country A/T III's once my new truck arrives. My new truck is a dually and I do not want the Nexens on there any longer than they have to be.

Allllrighty then...how bout some Mickey's...315x70x17s...will they fit on stock rim?

I knew Cooper sold but I did not realize all truck tires where made in China, yuck. I thought they still made some light truck tires here ie LT's. Hopefully not all the Micky Thompson's are made in china. that would totally sux. That said I much prefer Toyos anyway. most all their truck tires are made here altho some are made in japan which is 100X better than china. I had Toyo at3's in 35's on my jeep and a great tire but prefer RT's on a heavier vehicle.

Imma gonna give Mickey(s) a call in the a.m. and find out exactly what they still make in U.S. Hopefully can get a straight answer from the rep...fingers crossed!

Gave Mickeys a call this a.m....verified made in U.S....wouldnt tell me where...Stopped and looked @ Cooper tires going on tumor o..."Made in U.S.A." stamped right on 'em...if I end up not liking size, i'll wear 'em out n replace with 315s etc...Can see the sun beginning to come out after starting out under clouds...(metaphor)...Crusty, I dont feel so much like Rumplestilskin now!

Well...they filled the wheelwells a bit, not wild about the tread, was expecting something with more of a lug ...oh well...back to Rumplestilskin...20220603_150136.jpg
