The track bar is that like a steering stablizer? And thanks for the advice, softer ride would be goodMy buddy put a 2" Bilstein level kit on his 2018 3500 and he's happy with it. He mainly wanted a level kit without the use of spacers. The silver Bilstein shocks will give a firmer ride than something like Fox shocks but nothing wrong with Bilstens. Also consider a new Track Bar, good upgrade and will center your axle and outlast the stock track bar with the extra suspension articulation from stock.
If you're after a smoother ride and could afford the progressive Thuren or Carli springs, that would be my choice. Whichever you choose will get the job done.
Man that does look good! what size tires you running?![]()

Thank you!Man that does look good! what size tires you running?
I personally love it. With the kit and the shocks, when i drove it off the lot i drove it 70 miles home, it was hard to believe i was in a 2500, was buttery smooth and made a hell of a difference. Of course its bumpy when you hit bumps like a bridge over pass but nothing like any stock 2500 ive ever been in. If i had to do it again, id do the same thing. Loved them in my 1500 and love them on my 2500 now. Would recommend to anyone.Slutzk, how's the ride with the Bilstein Shocks?
Road and off road?
Thanks for the link on that kit. Do you still run with the OEM rear coils, or did you upgrade to the Thurens?I personally love it. Both on road, and off road feels good. Took it off road to go shooting and felt good. i was dry weight so it had the bump of course but again nothing like a stock 2500. Will really test it once off road season starts on Halloween. On road i barley noticed it like i said above.
No i kept the rear coils stock. Didnt want to replace them. Thanks for the link on that kit. Do you still run with the OEM rear coils, or did you upgrade to the Thurens?
