I dont know much about suspensions and have many questions

Have a ‘24 2500 Rebel 6.7

4wp did 2” leveling kit

I didn’t like the shock brackets and want to take them off and buy a 2” longer shocks

Anything else i should know?
Any recommendations?

I did the 2.5” level kit with new Fox 2.0 shocks from day one. Rides and drives great. No regrets

Did you do the track bar?
What is the difference between oem and aftermarket?
Where you bought it?
Do you have part number ?

Thanks

Yes I did the track bar. I had it done at the dealership before I ever drove the truck so I can’t tell you about before and after. All I can say is with level kit, shocks, and 35’s the rides better than the wife’s Honda. Rides way better than my buddy’s new Chevy 1500. Just finished a trip which was 6 hours each way pulling my boat with zero fatigue from the ride.

A level kit just lifts the front axle, while a lift kit lifts both axles.

Since the shocks were lengthened with spacers I’m guessing you have stock springs with spacers for the level kit. Nothing wrong with that, just pointing it out.

Shocks really comes down to how much you want to spend. For 2” spacers on stock springs I’d probably go with Bilstien 5100’s and call it good. You don’t need a track bar for 2”, thou it doesn’t hurt.

If you want a different/improved ride then it’s a slippery slope with new springs, shocks, anti-swaybar, and track bar… and that’s just up front.
