I’m looking at getting a ‘23 or ‘24 2500 Limited. It appears the ‘24 taillights flash red, where the ‘23 flash amber, for turn and hazard. Petty, but I like the red flash better. Does anyone know if this is software (could change with AlphaOBD) or the taillight itself?

Thanks

I hate that my 22 LEDs flash amber. I would love the ability to change to red if it is just a setting. Will be watching thread.

Its the assembly from what I have heard. Since its an amber LED

Can not be changed via AlfaOBD - its the tail light themselves.

Its not a software change its hardware.

They did that in 24s exclusively I think so save money.

If you switch the tail lights I dont know if you'll need to reprogram.
