Nice looking Grill. I haven't seen them before so I had to go and check out what they had and found several style to choose from.
This is the third or fourth post I've seen that makes me want to kick myself for not adding on the VSIM to my truck.
That one is actually very easy to add after the fact.
I‘m wondering if I can use my Laramie grille and just pop out the LEDs and install it? I would hate to have to do a complete grille swap. I hear it’s a PITA!
So the module is just "plug-n-play" (kinda like the TTPMS)? They made it seem like it was a factory only wiring thing.

Yup. The harness needs to be custom built, but pretty easy since everything pretty much goes right under the steering column. Need the bag of wiring, and one setting in AlfaOBD.This it?

Yes, that’s good info for those that already have the VISM, with details on how to use the outputs, but there’s more to it in order to install the module onto the truck after the fact. I don’t want to derail more than I already have (sorry @VenomRam), but if anyone is truly interested in adding the feature to the truck, just let me know, and I’ll start a thread with a detailed write up on how to build the harness to add the system to the truck.

I hear ya there. Although... my wife thinks I like it too much! The latest common comment is “What now!” I think this grill will be next. I was going to accent the grill with white factory matched paint. I prefer the LED look though.

It doesn't come standard unless you have an emergency vehicle package (wrecker, ambulance, police package, military vehicle, etc.), It is an option that dealers do not order on a vehicle unless you requested it. It would be listed on your window sticker if it was ordered on the vehicle. See image below. Sales Code XXS
