Can anyone recommend a particular brand of aftermarket LED swaps for high/low beams and reverse lights for my Tradesman? I've been looking around, but there's so many companies that are making them.

I've had good luck with headlight revolution in the past .

The problem is you don't have projectors. It's going to be a little more light for you. And a ton in other drivers eyes.

At a minimum leave the low beams stock. I agree the halogens are terrible but led's doesn't seem to be the fix. I put I light bar on my last two trucks and left headlights stock.

I just ordered morimoto 2stroke 3.0s they’re supposed to be top dawg and mirror the filament placement perfectly to give a perfect beam pattern in a halogen housings

here’s to hoping I don’t have bulb-out messages or flickering

I replaced my stock bulbs with LEDs and the difference in light output was very noticeable. I have yet to have an issue with other drivers flashing me or anything.

I'll follow this thread then. Cause the halogens are useless in these trucks

I had a loaded 2019 1500 sport with the LED headlights- which were excellent lights. I was really concerned moving into a tradesman with the halogen lights. After putting in new LED bulbs, the light output is very similar. Overall its a non-issue now, the headlights are more than adequate.

I sell a 6k.12000 lumen set. $50 a pair shipped

I went with the DieselLed high/low and backup lights. Extremely big difference in nighttime driving. Also, highly recommend the reverse lights, especially if you have the small screen. It really lights things up back there. Install was a breeze.

Can you be more specific on what models you used? Did this mimic the halogen behind that reflector? I would like the hi/lo and backups myself, maybe soon even the tail/break lights and the ambers

I’m not sure if your question was directed at me, but I have been running the morimoto 2 stroke 3.0 for a while now. They mimic the halogen bulb filament placement perfectly and are very bright.

I have not been flashed one time during my (dark) morning commute so far. My wife gets flashed constantly with her factory led lights in her car. They are pricey, you’re looking at over $250 for just the low beans with the pwm modules and all.

I had a slight issue with installing them, a small tab fell off. Luckily I was test fitting and clocking them in a spare headlight assembly because the piece fell down into the light. I had to invert and shake the headlight to get that piece out. I would have been extremely pissed if that piece fell into the trucks housing because it is about 4 hours of labor to r&r a headlight assembly.

the quality is great and I will probably buy another set for the high beams.
