Not sure if this belongs in “interior “ or “exterior”… purchased a ‘21 Ram 2500 Limited mega cab last year and to be honest, for the money paid, I’m not as impressed as I feel I should be for spending the money. Anyway, to the reason I’m here…found this forum while researching the issue. Recently I noticed water dripping from the rear corners of the sunroof after heavy rains. Not water pouring into the cab, but a steady drip. It seems to be coming in from the outside edge of the rear corner of the sunroof on both side of the truck. Is this normal? I had read elsewhere ppl saying that some water intrusion is normal at a sunroof? To be honest, I didn’t want a sunroof…but the truck had it.

Took it to the local dealer (not where purchased). They “adjusted it” saying that the front of the sunroof was “too low”…it now leaks worse lol. They want me to leave the truck with them in about a month so they can look at it.

If I take it to the car wash or spray the roof at home with a water hose, I can replicate the water leak issue at will. It’s a steady drip..is this actually normal? This is my 4th Ram truck in the last 20 years and I’m more unhappy with this truck than any of the half ton’s preceding it.

Definitely not normal, none of the sunroofs on my Rams ever leaked. Do you have another dealer that can check it? Sounds like current dealer doesn't know how to adjust it.

There are drain tubes the ends get plugged up you can check that but no a leak is not normal my 05 only leaked once after 15 years i blew out the drain lines and it was good to go never leaked again

I’ll try to get video, but the water is coming directly from the metal trim edge of the sunroof where it meets the metal roof 9at the joint).

I’ve been considering calling the dealer I purchased it from, but they are over an hour away So it’s not ideal.

Water dripping into your truck is what's not ideal. I wouldn't even give it a second thought on taking it to the dealer. All of my Ram trucks have had sunroofs, and none have ever leaked.

Hey I'm going through the same thing water is pouring in from the drive rear edge of the sunroof .Dealer has repalced every component of the sunroof once or with some parts up to 3x. Service manager doesn't really seem fixfor it either. I just want out of the truck and want one without holes in the roof.
