FWIW, This can be disabled with AlfaOBD or JScan on the 23-24 trucks.

You can turn it off with Alfaobd or JScan. “Unattended idle alert”. Do a search here of those threads. The steps are listed.

FYI, the behavior is now different for MY 2025. The chirp is the same BUT it will only happen once per engine start... not over and over each time. This is my experience at least! Not perfect but a lot better "out of the box".

I’m pretty sure that my ‘22 only did it once per start.

Interesting - it's possible I remember the behavior in my '23 wrong... I really thought it was every single time I got out and closed the door.

What is the purpose of it? I know by the Key-Fob leaving truck, but why would anyone add this to a vehicle? Are we not smart enough to realize we left the truck with the fob in our pocket.
