Key Fob programming

I had bought a Limited Key Fob for my 2022 Tradesman when i put tailgate shock on it. Have traded vehicles to 2023 Lonestar. Local dealership saidcould not program the Limited key to my new truck. They did try. At least took it to the technician.
Even tried local locksmith. No joy. Any suggestions

It‘s my understanding that you can only program a key fob one time. So if that’s true once the key fob was programmed to the tradesman it won’t work on any other vehicle Because it can not be reprogramme.

I bought a 5 button key fob off eBay and the tailgate damper too. Then I programmed it with Jscan and my iPhone. Now my Tradesman has the tailgate release and remote start! Thanks to @JimmyZ
