Anyone change from cloth to Katzkin leather?

I did this yesterday actually. Makes the interior look way nicer, and I expect it to last a lot longer than cloth.

Yes, I used leather seats. Com for mine though. Big pain in the butt for sure but well worth it.

I tried to order Katzkins but they would not tell me who the installer would be until after I made the purchase and they did not even have a installer within 120 miles of me. I said I needed to know who it would be before I would commit and they said no.

I switched to Katzkin on my 2016 ~4 years ago and have been happy with them. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

.

I installed them myself, took about 6 hours total to get them on. One helpful tip, put the leather out in the sun a couple hours prior to installing, it will stretch much easier. I learned this on about the 3rd seat......

Getting mine done this week, scored a kit off ebay for under $600

Got mine done not long after purchasing truck. $990 plus tax installed.

I looked into the katzkin for my 2014 1500. I ended up doing the clazzio covers from truck leather.com. They were 600 bucks for that truck. I've had them for about 6 years and they still look new and fit really tight. I will be doing them on my 2500 when it comes in. Install took about 2 hours on my crew cab. My only complaint is that the cover for the front fold down counsole doesn't fit great around the cup holders. Everyone that rides in my truck cant believe they are seat covers and not factory leather.

Did you experience any more problems? Like with under the seat heating or airbags?
