I got my 2500 about two weeks ago for pulling a heavy travel trailer.
How much do those things weigh?
 
Varies based on design but mine all loaded up put me 1500 #s overweight in my 2500. The liability in case of accident scared me into upgrading to the 3500 DRW. With water and all the goodies in my camper it's probably close to 3200 lbs. A lot of guys run big time overweight with TCs and in my younger years I wouldn't have cared but a home, business, etc makes this a financial equation worth doing.
