Just looking for things to buy ....

Absolutely the best truck and best camper and looking great is the bonus

Installed some goRhino RB-20 running boards (essentially 2nd gen raptor knock offs; https://www.gorhino.com/rb20-running-boards). Install would've been fairly straight forward but spun my wheels with the wrong sized hardware for a bit. Got them for under $300 shipped on autoanything.com. They are all galvanized steel with a textured black powder coat finish. They seem sturdy enough but definitely flex a bit under my weight (210lbs). Based on GoRhino's page these boards fit most of the 4th gen proper 2500 crew cabs. I like the low profile look and minimalist branding.

I know this is a little old but wanted to reply. Surprised they were flexing with you. I had the identical boards on my 2016 GMC 1500 and there was no flex that I could tell (200lbs). Wonder if they got cheaper in the past few years or if the mounting is that different between the Ram and GMC.

I'm personally gonna be going with the AMP steps this time around. I like that they drop further than the running boards but you don't see them when retracted. I was gonna go with those for my 2016 but I "cheaped out" and got the gorhino instead. Still liked them a lot, just wasn't exactly what I wanted.

I'm down to 200 now and they don't flex haha. Maybe that's the limit? It would happen on the larger gap between supports (between the B and C pillar for lack of better words) - that said I'm never stepping back there unless it's to wash the roof of the cab.

Haha. Maybe 200lbs is the limit. I had 3 or 4 supports under it so maybe the number of supports is different for gmc than ram? Idk, but glad it's no longer an issue.

I will tell you about an overlooked and great thing. I went with a soft top instead of buying another Lear shell. I absolutely love this. Cost was about $800 vs $4000 for a hard top. Put it on or off in 15 minutes, including rails. I bought a Soft Topper. Best Buy is to call them direct.

Hmmmm? Myself? I am looking to purchase a great set of driving lights to fill in the front bumper delete panels and to make use of one Aux switch. Just haven't found it yet.

@20Limited3500 - what Torklift part numbers did you order for your frame mounted tie downs? I am looking to purchase some soon. Thank you.
@ramblinChet
They don't list something for your 2021 it looks like. I would suggest calling them directly to find out.

But, based on a 2020 standard cab, factory 8' bed 4x4 diesel, this is what they have.

These are based on a factory hitch. If you plan on hauling anything heavy behind your rig while a camper is on, I would highly suggest upgrading the rear hitch and getting one of they super truss setups. Then again, they didn't show anything for the 2021s on their site. Changing the hitch to one of theirs may change the rear tie downs.

I have weighed my setup with the camper loaded up for camping with gear, food and 61 gallons of water onboard. With us and our 2 dogs in the truck, we're close to 15K. I will be looking at some stable loads from Torklift in the future. It is much better than the 2016 SRW I had before. But it can always be better.

I'm planning on doing the same. Seems to meet all my needs nearly perfectly. Any complaints at all?

What's the lead time on one? Just ordered my truck, but would like to have it on hand by the time it arrives.

Well I guess im buying a Genos Garage locking Fuel cap for my 6.7.. Got some cheap amazon DEF cap already.
