I set my minimum tire pressure setting with Alphaodb but for some reason it looks like it went back to default so I want to give it a try using jscan. Jscan has the sets of settings, a light load and a max load. Which one do I set if I want to be alerted below 50 psi

That’s what mine was set at from the factory.
It may have been 0, not sure. I just set it to 0 without looking at the existing setting. Works like a charm however. Nice not to have to monitor the tire pressure page on my dually while towing. EVIC turns red when tire is low.

Yes it is handy to be able to convert to TPMS.

I prefer TPIS, but the wife likes TPMS so I set it up for her when she takes the truck on road trips.

I wonder what the premium TPMS does differently than just TPMS?

Yes it’s the first time I’ve seen that.
Non-regulated is the TPIS system used on 3500, premium TPMS is the system used on 1500/2500.
TPIS is information system- it does not pop up the tire pressure screen when a tire is low.
TPMS is monitoring system- if a tire gets too low, it forces the tire pressure screen to pop up so you can see which tire is low, and how low it is.

Thanks Jimmy for your excellent explanation!!

So I have a 2023 Limited and the tire pressure warning keeps popping up, @Jimmy07, you had help me with the issue I was having where the tire pressure screen was not even showing up at all on my dash cluster. You gave me a few settings to change and now it works but sends warnings when below the threshold. Is there a setting I should change other then lowering the limit to get it to only show tire pressure and disregard any warnings?

edit: it is a 3500

No, there is no way to get either type of system to disregard any warnings beside lowering the pressure thresholds.

Ok got it. Thanks for all the help. To be honest I don’t mind being alerted if it falls below the limit I set…

Set light load tire pressures to 0 and the max load front and back to what you want. The factory settings are what is on the door sticker.
There’s no need to change the light load pressures. The truck ignores them.
