Issues with custom order

Went to go order my new power wagon and Olive green and spray in bed liner are no longer available but are active on Ram’s website. Anyone heard anything about why?

I think the olive was a limited run.. if they do like last year they'll be opening the 23 orders end of April early may .. you maybe able to order it then but the wait will be long..
I wonder if all the built trucks that have been setting kzld are waiting on bed liners..

Some colors got dropped due to pigment supply issues.

Spray in liner would just delay your delivery. The dealer should have a local Line-X deal to offer, same parent company. You'll actually get a thicker application going to Line-X and a warranty.

Can't say that was it for sure. It could be lack of demand or other production issues.

I just know in general, pigments and paint resins in general have taken a huge hit in this messed up supply chain.

I think it has to die with narrowing production to the more popular options and colors. Streamlining I think they call it. Just like pier fold mirrors go on restriction from time to time on certain models. Crazy times.

No any power options that get removed is from shortages, the olive green was out for the 75th aniversary PW to my understanding but seeing the 2023 rebel sneak peak it may be availible again for 2023 but we shall see

You got that right. Already asked this morning. Told me to go ask the dealer and the dealer has same access to the info. Like, lady you’re not really answering the question.

Dealer doesn’t have a clue. They said, they can see it, but can’t click it.

I remember back in 11 when the tsunami hit Japan it caused a shortage of metallic flakes. That caused a shortage of metallic paint and affected the colour options available. So maybe they ran short of Unicorn Olives they squeeze to make that colour?
