Intermittent Cargo Camera

I have a '22 Limited (surround view with the HD cargo camera) that is having an intermittent cargo camera issue. About 50% of the time there is no feed and the screen is black (the center line is sometimes displayed over a black screen and sometimes completely black). I have had it to the dealer for diagnosis but the were unable to replicate the problem and found no error codes. I feel like it may be heat related or possibly vibration related as it typically works during the first dive of the day after sitting in the shop all night but is blank later in the afternoon after sitting in the sun and/or having been driven. The 3-year portion of my warranty is about up but at least the problem is documented in the FCA system in case it's not resolved by then. Just curious if anyone has had a similar issue and if so, what solution fixed it? Thanks!

I'm not sure this will help much, but you can swap the cargo camera for the tailgate backup camera. They should be the same. You can then tell if the issue follows the camera or the wiring.

I did the opposite to determine my backup camera in the tailgate handle was malfunctioning. Bought a new camera and all has been fine since.

Likely a bad camera, mine acted the same way, replaced under warranty and has been fine since. Like ClawSS said all of the 360 cams are the same part number so in the future when you are out of warranty you can swap them around to rule out wiring issues

Seems to be something going on with the cargo cams as mine quit at the same time as many others here on the forum. It may still be a bad camera but I would suspect it is being caused by something up on the roof, heat, moisture or wiring. Or it was a firmware update.
