What happened to the interior ambient lighting in the doors....backlit illumination where the door handles are and down towards the bottom where the cupholders are. My 2018 Laramie had blue illumination in those area and now my 2019 Limited has none of that.

There should be an LED tube above the cup holders and underneath the shroud. Likewise there should be a cutout and LED at the rear of the door handle enclosure. Not exceptionally bright when cranked up but they do work in the dark.

Left of the steering wheel on the dash are two dials that go up and down. I believe the one of the right controls the dash and screen brightness. To the left of that is the dial that controls the ambient brightness.

That’s correct

I just checked and I have NO illumination in those areas.
Ya might want to check that the LED fixtures are actually there. The one by the door handle can be seen through the cutout on the aft part of the door handle enclosure. The LED tube above the cup holder and lower door cubby can be viewed with an inspection mirror. And... ensure the dimmer control for the ambient lighting is turned up. Note that the ambient lighting only works when the headlights or park lights are on.

Yes, this was very depressing to me as when the lights are on, the highest setting for the cluster is still too dim for me. I was running around with it on max brightness, however, my switch also developed a flicker problem. It would flicker from max bright to the highest dim setting. Dealer could never replicate and it does it randomly. I turned the switch down off the max brightness and it was fine for a while, but now with the switch in the OFF position, it has started flickering sometimes.

IDK what is up, but the switch is cheap ($27), so I will try swapping that out.
