I am installing a retractable tonneau cover and need to install drain tubes. MY bed has factory sprayed-in bed liner. The oval caps near the front of the bed or the circular caps next to the tie down straps were sprayed over. Can I use either of these to put my drain hose out of? I was thinking about drilling a hole in those caps, but not sure if that's the right move? What are your thoughts?

I used the oval caps. IIRC, that was the recommendation in the instruction manual. But, I believe you could use either.

I used the caps as well on my Retrax PowerTrax, but I made a mod before running the hoses. I took two 90 degree plastic vacuum elbows and sanded the diameter of one leg on each until it fit into the rubber on the bottom of the can, then I attached the hose to the other end. This gives me storage room under the can without the hoses in the way.
