Installed Weathertech vent visors today

I like my in channel Weather Tech vent visors. Also installed in wife's van.

aalong with the Weather Tech floor Matt's in the truck and wife's van.

I put the weather techs on my truck. Came in handy in yesterdays down pour. Yes they do increase the noise level in the cab.

i just put my front doors on yesterday, it seems like it takes more effort for the windows to roll up. anyone else notice that? does it improve over time?

As long as they are seated properly, they should roll up exactly the same

mine was a bit tight the first couple of days. have had them for 3yrs with no issues.

I got scared off buying them cause rumors in some cases them causing shattered windows....is that BS ?

i cant see it causing to shatter. i have only had them on maybe 48 hours. it does feel snug, but the drivers which gets used it already feeling more free in the travel

No issues, 3.5 years in. I roll my window down every time I pull into the garage so I can check my drivers side front tire to make sure it’s in the box. Painters tape I put down so I know I left enough room for my wife’s car and the kids to open doors.

Beware Shattered windows caused by (in channel) vent visors

Doesn't have to be cold.

Seems to be more common with the WeatherTech models that use the metal clip in the window channel. And for some odd reason, the right rear seems to be the most common to break.

Barely gets below freezing here for a few days a year but no issues with mine - same as OP.
