So I think maybe is the pattern we are settling on for the prototype. Military standard molle pattern 1.5"x1" rectangular holes. 5" clearance slots for #10 bolts (quick fists), and 3/8" verticle (1") and horizontal (1.5") for possible traction board and hi-lift mounting. Then 1/4" clearance holes for any other mounting options you may want and also we will use those for future mounting brackets. We still have some dimensions to figure out for the bedside panel but it's getting close. We will start on the long bed panels and ram box panels soon. Thoughts?

Alright guys! We got our first prototype panel cut out today on the plasma. We also came to an agreement with a local off-road shop that can laser cut everything which will lower the price. Also CJC is interested in possibly distributing. Next steps are to get a full assembly bolted into my truck for testing and finish the tweaks on the bed side panel. Once all of that is over we will most likely take pre-orders and use either PayPal or quickbooks, these orders will be at a discounted price as they will be first run parts, we just want to get the panels out and get feedback. Then we will hopefully begin discussing the distribution deal with CJC. ADMIN: this post is not for selling product, I know that’s against the rules!

Alright, everyone. Just so you all know, this project is far from dead. We have made several changes to the panel design to reduce the price and increase the rigidity and structural integrity of the panel. We are also working on TONS of accessory options for the panels. Here are a few images of the panels. We have gone back and forth with several manufacturers and have found a great option here in town that can do everything start to finish on the panels this keeps quality consistent and price low. We have several different distributors ready to order the panels in quantities of 10 to start off. We are anticipating a price range for the front panel to be around $300-$350. The name of the LLC formed for our panels is Icky Concepts (if you're from Nevada you'll get it). We don't have a website yet. We are 99.9% sure this is the production design.

I’d order a side panel.

one thought - bed rattle. With metal-on-metal and the bed already notoriously (at least to me) “jiggly” you’ll want to make sure an empty or loaded panel isn’t going to rattle too bad. Some sort of high-strength rubber (thinking bushings) in the gaps, etc.

Very interesting. I had much the same for a 2017 Tundra and loved them. Had panels in the cab and in the bed. very useful. Now that Ive moved up to a 3500, need the same versatility for storage.

Very interested. Always seen the competitors products with their focus on Raptors and no love for Ram. Would be interested in the Side panel and what attachments available (always looking at that side panel as a great place to store ski's to leave the main bed space free for other gear).

Hey everyone! Panels are about ready to be made. We have a distributor who is going to be selling the panels, it’s what’s best if we are to start a legit company. I’m sure a lot of you guys are big fans of this certain distributor, so when the deals are final I’ll let you all know. We are currently doing all the boring business stuff, setting up bank accounts, finalizing operations agreements, finalizing logos, blaa blaa blaa.... attached is an image of a test bedside panel. We are currently working on packaging for the panels with the manufacturer! Long bed panels, and ram box panels are in the works too! What questions do you all have?

The side panels look interesting and will make use of 'lost' or useless space. From that design, I'm guessing we're looking to a drill through the bed rail spot weld flange fitting. Will that clear any bed cover/tonneau or topper fitments?

As long as it clears the bits mentioned through the thread (and good luck considering the number of options and variations) I'll definitely be up for a pair of sides.

What about a plate for behind the back seats? They backs tilt forward to reveal a useful space if you raise them up a little (I used original seat bolt at +30mm M12 x 1.5mm 10.9 grade with 1/in double thickness washers to bolt through drilled hockey pucks to the original mounts - fiddly but simple enough) and a molly plate behind would be really useful for stuff you want in the cab rather than the bed, or for mounting electronics boxes, etc.

Awesome idea! would be interested for my 2021 Ram 3500 DRW

Hey! Sorry for the late reply. The panels will require drilling through the bed rail flange and installing rivet nuts. We have designed it to work with tonneau covers but can't guarantee it will work with EVERY cover on the market. We have discussed seat back panels for mega cabs and under-seat panels for crew cabs. We have a LONG list of potential projects. We are trying to get the company going and get these initial panels selling but you can bet we will be putting out tons of products in the future. Send me an email at [email protected] and we can discuss side panels.
