I have a 2020 Ram 3500 4x4 Limited, HO Diesel with an electrical issue. Dealer says it’s gonna be 3 weeks to even look at it, so thinking about tracking it down myself.

I suddenly got errors (after being parked overnight) for def/exhaust, fuel gauge shows E (tank is full), also some errors for rear or cargo camera. Drives fine, btw, just loads of errors on dashboard. Based on these being completely different systems, I think that somehow a connector or major harness got damaged.

Looking at diagrams for various systems, some of the common connectors seem to be XY950 and XY900. What I cannot seem to find out, is if these are interior or exterior. I signed up for tech authority manuals for a couple days to get this far.

The visual diagram is attached— I just need to know if it’s interior or exterior before I tear things apart. I know it could be that the harness passes from interior to exterior and it could be (most likely) a wire harness that got somehow pinched/cut but I want to start with finding this one connector to start wire testing.

Is there any naming convention that indicates if a connector is interior/exterior?
