I have a 2019 2500 laramie with the 6.7 and 82,000 km (50,000 miles). I took the truck in in April for a leak, it turned out to be the timing housing. One month and $5k later I got my truck back and took it on a 400 km (250 mi) trip. I noticed it was still leaking and brought it back to the dealer. Apparently they only fixed one half of the timing housing. Another two months (dealer had to order parts and a special tool?) I was able to bring my truck back in, three weeks later I get my truck back and take it on the same 400 km trip and on my way back I noticed the turbo was whining. I try to pass someone on the highway and a loud bang comes from the engine bay and I am stuck in an area with no cell service. Towing and a pickup with my family etc. and I finally get the truck to the dealer. It has now been a month and I still don't know what is wrong with my truck. They are sampling fuel apparently and leaving me in the dark. I have opened a case with chrysler but feel as though they are trying to deflect responsibility. I am not super mechanically inclined and would appreciate any advice on what could be happening with the exhaust system from this situation and how to proceed. Also, would you recommend I seek legal advice? Thanks in advance for any assistance!
