Well im.aware how to open it up but unaware if there's a realively safe way to do so..

I have the 68rfe so basically lock out 5th & 6th gear is my understanding and don't do a 0-60 but rather a rolling start?

Just got past mt first 1000k mile "break" in period so I am curious how to make her go to see really just once.

You can definitely feel the torque all the way through the gears but it's definitely a steady climb instead of a get up and go.

I guess I’m confused with your post and what your asking. Are you wanting more power, quicker starts, running a line at the strip, etc.

Turn off traction control and do a brake stand.

YMMV. There is the potential to twist something...

That said, I bought my truck to tow, not to hotrod. I did enough of that with my 04.5 and the trans paid the price.

I dont want to hotrod it just wanted to see how she does vs my old 08 f250 6.4l diesel.

i plan to take care of it and use it for the purpose i bought it for just curious but i figured it out and am satisfied.

Shes the fastest slow truck ive ever owned ha.

Borrow one and then slowly return it...you drafted a linebacker, not a wide-out!

There's so much torque management it's hard to hurt them in stock form.

According to firepunk video i ran into you have to lock out 5th and 6th gear because they over lap.

4th is direct drive, so i did so and got what i wanted now she'll be sailing as a work truck.

Impressed either way.
