Yes, they are painted to match the truck.Just curious, when people get these prices, does that include having them painted to match the truck?

Hey that's a good idea...I didn't even give that a thought. I think the quoted price just went up!Seems like a good price to me. I would recommend also getting the fold down glass so you can clean the trucks back glass
I just installed a Fas-Top traveler as I wanted a camper shell but wanted to still use my bed and have a tonneau cover. The tonneau cover rolls up and then the soft topper is underneath and can be set up. They run about $1500 and the company is really responsive and helpful. That's a good idea. Does the softtopper also lay flat like a tonneau cover if wanted?
There are advantages and disadvantages, it’s not the right answer for everyone.A truck cap is definitely worth the investment. As long as you know exactly what your needs are going to be, a cap can add a ton of benefits to your truck.
It’s definitely not the answer for everyone. it’s super handy to have, though. There are advantages and disadvantages, it’s not the right answer for everyone.
Pros: large, weather tight storage space. Great for camping. Looks sleek. Relatively secure
Cons: Difficult to access things at the front of the bed—requires you to crawl on your hands and knees. Limited vertical space for large items. Large and heavy, if you need to remove it to use an open bed it requires a place to store it and extra sets of hands to remove it (or a pulley system and a garage). Looks more SUV-ish, if you prefer the pickup-truck profile.
I have a Diamondback hard tonneau cover on my truck and it excels in some aspects (security, looks, can still haul large loads). It’s easier to remove and store than a topper but not that easy. I have good access to the things at the front and the rear of the bed, but the middle is kind of dead space. I can’t camp in it. I have been seriously considering a hard topper, but there are some cons I get hung up on that keep holding me back from pulling the trigger.
But the boxes will stay dry….I've accepted the fact that people won't bug me to help them move their furniture because it won't fit under the cap...
We make some aluminum hooks that work great for grabbing things that have slidCons: Difficult to access things at the front of the bed—requires you to crawl on your hands and knees.
True, but generally they are asking because of the 'big' items (furniture/appliances)But the boxes will stay dry….
You make it sound like you are disappointed.I've accepted the fact that people won't bug me to help them move their furniture because it won't fit under the cap...
