HK audio trim levels

Good evening all!

Looking at 2500s.

Am I loosing my mind, or is the HK sound system only available in the limited trim level?

Sorry, I misread.

I guess that's true.

For me, the Laramie wasn't really an option due to the seating surfaces I felt wouldn't wear well for me. Not a fan of bonded leather. For $6k more (MSRP) than a max optioned Laramie, you get the better lights, HK (some don't like it) premium (real) leather. I basically paid Laramie money for my Limited after a respectable (11%) discount. Call me foolish, but it was that or a cloth Bighorn and the lighting factored in big for these old less than perfect night vision eyes.

Are you talking 2021 2500s because I looked at a 2020 2500 Laramie last year and it did have the HK system as part of the package. I was looking at the Level II.

Same here, by the time I added all the options I wanted on a Laramie I might as well buy a Limited. Which I did at an amazing discount, ended up being less than a Laramie not to mention dealer gave me a killer trade in value.
 
For 2020 Laramie level 1 was Alpine and Laramie Level 2 was the HK. I have no idea about 2021.
 
If the Ramtrucks site is correct, it looks like the HK system is now only available in Power Wagon or Limited trim.

I assume the introduction of the Level B packages may be what removed it as an option from the Laramie trim.
 
I could be wrong - but I think the HK is the 12", and the Alpine is the 8.4. I just built one w/ the 12" on a Laramie Level 2...

I did notice though - they got rid of the auto level air ride on the 6.4. Only available on the 6.7

You can get the 12" with either the Alpine or the HK. I have it in my 2020 Laramie with the Alpine.

HK was an option when I was building my Laramie (and looks like it was for yours as well), but that was before the introduction of the chip-induced Level B packages.
 
I just bought a 21 Laramie and it has the HK system. Part of the Level B package I guess?

Looks like you've both proven that either the Ramtrucks build site is incorrect, or your trucks were built prior to the current option availability being determined.

I also have the Night Edition and according to one site I saw, that includes the HK stereo.
