Hitch reducer insert

Good afternoon. Are new RAM 2500s suppose to come with the hitch reducer insert? I thought I read somewhere that they are. Curious because my truck didn’t come with one. There also wasn’t floor mats in it and after I read on the build sheet that it did come with floor mats, the dealer took a set out of another truck and put them in mine. Wondering if when the floor mats were taken from mine, if the hitch reducer was taken as well.

Ram ceased the inclusion of the hitch reducer as part of the pre-delivery package starting in model year 2023.

Yeah the hitch reducer was one of many things they cut. No more fender flares on Laramie trim, cut back on hemi powered options, etc etc. Less is more in the eyes of their stockholders I guess. It certainly doesn’t look like they’re putting the customer first these days….

at least it's voluntary with ram, the govt won't stop until your dead. congress needs your cash for all the insider trading

My 23 did not have the reducer either, I mentioned it to the dealer and they got one from parts for me and did not charge for it.
