Hit a deer, parts on back order

Hello everyone.

I have a 2025 Power Wagon that I got in early August. Last week, I was cruising at 65 MPH and hit a big deer (buck). He tore up my front end pretty good. I dropped it off at the collision shop my insurance company works with.

Today I got a call saying that it needs a bumper, grill, passenger head lamp, winch and stabilizer bar kit. The problem is the electronic Stabilizer bar kit is on manufacturer back order with no ETA. I was told Jan 30, 2026 at the earliest. I called numerous Dodge dealers today (at least 6 in different states) and they all said the same thing.

My issue is the insurance company only provides me a loaner for 30 days. Obviously this sounds like the repair will take much longer so I will run out of loaner time.

Do I need the OEM electronic stabilizer or is there an aftermarket one on the market I can use in place of it? Or can I run without it all together until the part comes in? I hate to wait 90+ days just for this stabilizer bar if there's other things I can do.

Thanks much. Any input is appreciated.

I agree it’s not too bad considering the speed. Appears Mr Buck stayed low luckily.

That winch will be on someone’s trailer after they replace it.

For the price they will charge you for the front bumper I would upgrade to a chassis unlimited bumper.

You can run without the bar. Several people on here do.
And I don't see how the winch is damaged. Maybe the fairlead that's bolted to the bumper.
If they do replace it, try and get the takeoff. Otherwise I'm sure someone in the body shop will soon have that winch on their truck.

Is the stabilizer really damaged? thats not really a lot of damage

The bar itself was not damaged. However, the electronics that connect to it were, so my light is on.

I've gotten the truck back for now, and am driving it until the new Electronic Sway Bar kit comes in.

I ordered their Diablo bumper the day after I hit the deer. Unfortunately, they have a 6-8 week lead time. I'm going to resell the new factory bumper after I take it off.

The shop offered me the old winch, and I said I will take it.
