Hex wrench size for Warn winch cover removal

What size hex wrench is needed to remove a broken Warn winch cover? 12MM?

I am pretty sure it is a 12mm. How did you break it? or did you just break one of the nubs off it? If that is the case I would leave it and just go with a factor 55 flatlink.

The nub that holds the hook broke and now the hook moves around.

install a factor 55 flatlink and call it a day.

Hook it onto the tow hook, use the provided warn winch line cover on the part that’s sub exposed and call it a day
