Welcome to the site. What kind of info are looking for concerning the 6.4 hemi?

i;m looking for basic feedback on powerplant reliability and how it performs coupled to the 8 speed.

Well I have 6500 miles on mine and the 8 speed tranny shifts flawlessly. The 8 speed was the best addition to the 6.4. I just took a 1200 mile trip during the holiday and I was able to get 15.3 mpg on one of the legs. There was one hell of a bad headwind on my travel to my destination but on the leg back I was in a 20 mph tailwind which definitely helped the mpg. The power is there when you need it. I haven’t towed anything with my 2500 yet, so I can’t give you much insight as to how the tranny, towing and the 6.4 work together. The truck seems to have excellent instant throttle response in every gear. Some people on here say the throttle response lags a little but I have yet to experience it.

Other than routine maintenance i had an oil pressure sensor, transmission fluid distick snapped, and heater core got clogged. Thats it

2014 regular cab long bed driving around not hauling/towing I would regularly average 17-18 according to the truck.

2019 crew cab long bed drw is 13 according to the truck.

I was only getting 13 to 14 mpg on my '16 2500 6.4L but I drove it like it was a Corvette.

The 6 speed in the '16 always felt like it didn't know what it wanted to do at higher highway speeds on hills.

I hear from guys that have the 8 speed that say that's a problem of the past.

Yes. That's what I wished thr 6 speed did but it would just sit in 6th most of the time slowing down until I punched the peddle to get it to shift down. The 8 speed I hear is better shifting to maintain speed.
