Scott here. Just joined this site after purchasing a 2019 2500 Lonestar edition with the 6.7L Cummins. I have always been a HEMI guy prior to this so got some things to learn from y'all I'm sure! The only other diesel experience I have is from driving a 2008 F-550 Powerstroke some at work to pull a command trailer. Thats a whole different beast for sure.

Your ride will be much nicer than that Ferd jallopy
The Ford is a 4x4 too by the way lol. It bogs way down when it is time to clean the particulate filter and I can't get over 50 or 55 on the highway in 70+ traffic. I become a traffic hazzard then! I had to have a bracket installed on it to hold the mudflaps because the exhaust was burning the one on the right in two! It sure pulls good though, I will say. Shameful thing is that it does not get driven much at all and I'm amazed it hasn't had major problems as yet. We got it in 2007 and it has less than 4,000 miles on it!!!

With the current specs, you can probably haul about the same with your new 2500 vs that ferd 550. Love that billet silver with sport pkg look. That's what I've ordered but 3500 HO version.
