Hello all. New member here and just wanted to say hi. I am a multi Ram owner currently with a 2021 Ram 2500 Tradesman with the 6.4 and 4:10's. I am loving this truck so far. It's the first Ram I've had with the 4:10 gearing and it makes a huge difference compared to the 3:73's, it feels so light and zippy! I bought it in February and as most know, there is not much inventory on the lots right now so I went with the Tradesman and am going to install the things I want. It already came with a good amount of stuff that I found to be important to me: Olive green pearlcoat, 4:10 gears, 8" screen radio, bed utility group, anti slip rear axle, off road package etc... I realized that you are screwed using apple carplay maps for GPS when your phone looses reception so today I installed the 12" screen with NAV and I love it!!! This week I am getting the grille surround and bumpers painted to match and getting rid of the chrome. I have all the black badges now and will get them on this week as well. I have a floor console from EBay that I will install next week and also a glove box door for for the upper glove box. After all that, I am going to try to gather the parts to do OEM fog lights. Thanks man! I love this color. I was going to get another one until I seen that this one was in transit so I told my salesman to call me as soon as it gets on the lot.

I do. I bought it from Infotainment.com and they have videos to walk you through the process. It was pretty easy and straight forward, the only time I had any mild issue was fitting my hand through the dash to reconnect the gateway bypass thingy lol. It is an expensive mod and could probably be done cheaper if you could source one on your own but its hard to find. When you get it where I got mine, they send you all the programming stuff you need as well. It is normally $4000 to go through them but I called and when he could see that I was on the fence because of the cost, he gave me $400 off. They also have an option for you to sell your old equipment to them but I didnt do that because they were cheap on what they would give me and I am going to put my old one back in and keep the 12" when I get a new truck.

I commented what I did above to H3LZSN1P3R. Just go to Infotainment.com and they have a VERY thorough video that walks you through it. Also a YouTuber named Hamiltonville Farm has a video about it and it is great also. Maybe even better than the Infotainment video! The install was very easy!!!
 
Welcome, I love that color. I don't understand why Ram doesn't offer that color in the Longhorn trim. Seems like a very complimentary color to the Longhorns. That said, it probably worked out for the best for me to get billet silver. That color can hide dirt and water spots unbelievable well.

Good move!....It appears to be a nicely equipped Tradesman.

If you want to unload the 8.4 one of the members here will snatch it up quick.

I love that color also, I had an 05 Ram 1500 that was that silver. It reminds me of a Coors Light can when I washed it and the water beaded off of it lol
 
And I likes my refreshments ICE cold when possible but will drink them all if you're buyin!
