First, this will appear as my first post. It really is not. I forgot my password, yes I am old. My ID was tied to my work email address but after 42 years, I retired. So had to re-register.
Next, I read the other "Heated Seats" thread but it was about steering wheel. My problem is the drivers side heated seat.
Turn on heated seats on both driver side and passenger side. Passenger side stays on till you turn it off. It works no matter the temp outside. Have turned it on in 100degree heat just to screw with my wife in August.
Drivers side will stay on maybe 2 minutes or so and then go off. If you turn it back on, stays on just a few seconds and then goes off.
Now, this is probably related to the fact my buddy knocked a 32oz Big Gulp off the console onto the driver seat a few months back.
I am going to have the seats pulled out and replace the foam cushions and the replace the worn seat covers. Wanted to get the heated seat working properly again but I have no idea what to buy, what to look for, what to do?
Suggestions

Maybe the best thing to do would be swing by the parts counter at your local dealer. Have them pull up the seat assembly breakdown of parts.
