Took my brand new 2021 power wagon to the car wash after wheeling today and noticed that the driver headlight housing was fogging up on the inside.
Has anyone noticed this with any of your trucks?
I have the 75th anniversary edition with the led lamps, not sure if maybe it's from being built in Mexico and brought to 7000ft maybe there is a bit of moisture that has been trapped from assembly or something?
Appreciate any input you guys might have before it goes to the dealer.

Hmm. I have a 75th as well. Take it to the car wash weekly. Never seen the headlight fog up. But I'm at sea level.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure a gasket or something is jacked up. It's only the driver side so that's not a good sign. Wish I had faith in my local dealership.

Elevation at the Saltillo plant is like 5000ft ;) so not a huge jump to 7000. I live at 5000 and drive up to 10k+ often and have had no issue. On my last truck (Chevy) I drove between 5000 and 7000 daily and had no issues

it shouldn’t be fogging on a brand new truck, take it in to the dealer and have them replace it.

I'm getting moisture in both of my headlight housings. Guess I'll have to pull everything apart to apply some silicone.

Perhaps, but I'm terrified to take my truck into a Ram service department. Have read a lot of horror stories.

Not silicone. There are vents on the back of the headlight. If they are pushed in too far it doesn't allow moist air to escape and you get condensation.

These are the vents

So if I'm understanding correctly....you are saying if these "vents" get clogged I could have condensation issues? I'm getting condensation which in turn is affecting the ability of my "accent" light to work correctly
