Good morning everyone, I bought a pair of aftermarket headlights for a 2022 RAM 3500 LARAMIE and I have a LOST COMMUNICATION WITH HEADLAMP MODULE error. Has anyone experienced this?
what brand/model? Where did you get them? Are they some Temu chinesium garbage or a reputable brand? Have you tried contacting the manufacturer or reseller? Did you go from halogen to LED?
My guess is the computer is looking for a specific voltage and the lights you bought are not to Rams spec so you will get that error. Does it throw a check engine light or just a stored error? If its just a stored error I would not worry about if the light works as it should.

One can only guess, but if they went from halogen to LED then that would need to be changed in the BCM via something like AlfaOBD or JScan. Or resistor packs would need to be used.
